Nov 06

I’m borrowing this from Mom to the Screaming Masses, who borrowed it from A Girl and Her Life.  It was good and I enjoyed it.  Here’s my version.

Things I can’t stop buying although I don’t need any more:

  • Juice boxes
  • Ragu spaghetti sauce (I have 12 jars in my basement at the moment)
  • Toothpaste
  • Boxes of tissue
  • facial moisturizing products
  • hair styling products
  • coats

Things I have too much of, but can’t get rid of:

  • balls – not theirs, sports balls.  Of all kinds.  They are everywhere in my house, basement and garage
  • half empty boxes of cereal
  • “to do” lists
  • Stuffed animals – not mine, theirs
  • gift wrapping supplies
  • old bras that I don’t even wear anymore (you just never know when a bra emergency will arise I suppose)
  • unread home decorating magazines
  • sports trophies (none of which are mine)
  • coats

Things I just can’t do no matter how hard I try:

  • get the boys to tidy up after themselves
  • get the boys to do their music practice
  • rearrange furniture
  • shop at Winners (I hate it there – too much chaos)
  • get excited about Christmas
  • enjoy Winter
  • take a daily vitamin (even though my Outlook reminds me every morning when I get to work and they’re sitting right on my desk)
  • get up 30 minutes early to do a some Wii Fit
  • do sit ups
  • stop obsessing about my blog stats
  • poop on a regular basis
  • poop anywhere other than my own home base

There you go.  Enjoy your day.

Man, I also keep every bra I’ve ever bought – whether I like it and wear it on a regular basis or not. What is up with that?? It’s like I just can’t bring myself to throw/give it away…. ???
