Awww, poor Cher! Since it’s a new week now everything must be going better for you. You can count down the few weeks until your vacation in the hot and sunny south! It will literally solve all of the aforementioned problems (no winter so no snow; no car so no broken taillight and no cracked windshield; no dry weather so no dry legs and no static electricity; no work so no touching those filing cabainets that give you the electric shocks; no drive-thru to get your coffee so no pulling back muscles) just the hot sun and beach in all it’s glory! Except that after one week you will return to all of the above… but hey! when you return, you can call me, we can get together, and you can show off your tan and tell me all about your trip! P.S. I know it’s late now, but you know the minute a stone hits your windshield you should be heading straight to Speedy or Apple or something so they can do a stone chip repair. If it’s done within the hour of the chip, it’s repaired to 100%. Just for future…

Not to beat a dead horse, but: Yes, static electricity is a real killjoy. And since they started posting those warning stickers a few years ago at gas stations (you know, “Discharge all static electricity before using pump OR YOU WILL DIE DIE DIE SUPER PAIN AWFUL”), I not only hate static shocks, I am also downright terrified of them.

We all have crabby days, especially those of us who have to live in this horrid wintery country. Argh, Winter bites! My BabyMama pretty much lives in her own crabby little world from October to April. She recommends lots and lots of daydreaming about things like winning the lottery and hightayling it to Jamaica. Ponder that for awhile and see if it doesn’t lift your spirits just a tiny bit.

It seems like most of your problems are car related. Cars are wondeful when they go properly, but expensive when things start to go awry. And living in Australia I don’t have to deal with all the extra issues caused by snow.

I think your blog will be interesting.. I’m the eldest of four boys and my mum was, like you, the only girl. Could be an insight into the horibleness I caused my mother as a child.

Ohh, I agree!! I hate winter, too (after Christmas, of course. Before Christmas, I adore to glistening snow!). And nothing makes winter a little less bleary than an automatic car starter!!

I hate snowplows! At least when they dump snow in my driveway, not so much when I’m following one like a beacon of light through a blizzard.

I loved this post! Everyone needs to vent every now and then. I hate to admit it, these were pretty funny but only because I’ve been there and know what you’re going through. I especially love that your kids had to poop right before seeing Santa. That’s happened to me so many times. It’s just nice to know I’m not alone! I hope you have a great weekend.
