Hi – I’m Cher and this is my blog.  Welcome!  Come on in.  Look around.  Plenty to see.  Not much to do.

I’m a 40-something working mother from Suburbia.  I grew up with one brother, no sisters.  I married my husband of 11 years (Willie), and now we have two wonderful sons (The Eldest – age 9 and The Youngest – age 6).  With the exception of my Mom, I have always lived with boys.

Now don’t get me wrong – I love boys, and I do get along very well with them.  But the fact remains that they have always surrounded me.  Even our pets are boys!  So I am, for all intents and purposes, living in a boy’s world . . . and I’m the only girl!

I started blogging because;

• I loved reading other people’s, so I thought I might also love writing one of my own
• I don’t have any other hobbies at the moment
• it’s inexpensive (that’s a real plus because I’m cheap)
• I can do it from the comfort of my own home (read: “I’m too lazy to go to the gym”)
• it doesn’t take up too much time (which I don’t have much of anyway because I work full time, my husband and boys have very busy extra-curricular schedules)
• I have a REALLY bad memory and wanted to have a journal of stuff that happens in my life.  Except I knew I would never write in a journal.

I typically post everyday, Monday to Friday.  I’m far too busy on the weekends keeping up with the boys and getting the house in order to come up with anything blog-worthy.
